A type written letter from attorney George B. Cooke to A.W. Todd Esquire written on April 23, 1935 regarding Power of Attorney. The letter states: "Dear Mr. Todd, I enclose the Power of Attorney which you handed me to-day. My father, you know, will be very disappointed not to have seen you and although I am very glad that the telegram you have received from Italy puts an end to the immediate difficulty with which you appeared to be faced, I am sorry not to have had the opportunity of seeing you and Mr. Stephenson again to make enquiry after all our friends in Boston, as I did not do this when we parted this morning thinking that I should be seeing you again when time was less pressing. With best wishes for a comfortable voyage home. Yours sincerely, George B. Cooke A.W. Todd Esq, Savoy Hotel, Strand, W.C.2." |
