An official souvenir program for the GAR's 47th National Encampment, held in Chattanooga, TN from September 15 to 20, 1913. The program was issued by authority of the Chattanooga Encampment Association. Extensive information on the history of Chattanooga and the surrounding area is accompanied by numerous photos and illustrations. The publication also includes a program of events held over the 6-day encampment and a fold-out, color map of "Chattanooga and Surrounding Battlefields." There is use of colored ink throughout the program and it is bound with red, white, and blue string. |
