A document confirming the cargo of the Brig Fanny presented by Joseph Wood, Esquire on behalf of the ship owner, Israel Thorndike. It details where the pepper and cocoa were purchased and that the fish was taken from American waters. The pepper had been imported from Sumatra by Captain Thomas Webb. The cocoa was purchased from Thomas Amory of Boston. He received it from Andrew Farrell and Thomas Davis of New York. There is a brief letter written by Juan Stoughton, Spanish consul of the states of New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Vermont. This was written in Spanish. Brig Fanny [3]. |
