Scope & Content |
Letter from D. G. & R. Rundle of Philadelphia to William Bartlett, Salem, concerning many topics of the merchandise shipped on the Schooner Polly. Among these he discusses the fact that the "coloured handkerchiefs" are not selling but that oil is fetching a good price as it is scarce. He asks why Bartlett only ships cargo from Salem and marblehead when he is only a few miles from Newbury and Portsmouth. |
