Book with records of Field Surveys for the City of Beverly 1887. Book is bound with a faded brown cover. There are about four pages that are loose; they do not look like they were actually bound as part of the book but were an index created and placed inside later. On first page of the bound book it is annotated " Notebook of William J. Berry, Surveyor, Endicott Building, Beverly, 1887. Inside the front cover and first page there are various numbers and apparent mathematical notations. Although most of the pages were written primarily in pencil/lead/graphite they are not as faded as 011.023.001 so they are still very legible. Pages inside include drawings with dimensions listed, survey notations and identity and location for most survey record entries. Upper right hand corner of most pages are numbered in ink more permanent than the pencilled notations. |
