The content of this book consists of meeting notes, records of votes and decisions, and ledgers reflecting members, taxes, and contributions. The entries are typically dated (1793-1862) though they are not signed by the authors. However, many of the entries are signed by John Conant, Ebenezer Trask, Jr., Levi Dodge, and Andrew Elliott, among others. The book is bound in suede, though the handsewn binding is somewhat deteriorated. The paper is laid paper with a circular watermark with the initials "WK" inside the circle. There were 2 typewritten notes written by the Church found inside the book's from cover. One reads, "Vol. C. Film and Xerox copies were made of this volume in June, 1961." The notes (items 964.001.023-024) are Series I's folder, while photocopies remain with the book to preserve context. The Church abeled this book as Volume C. |
