A forty page type-written memorandum with twelve pages of attachments from July 12, 1949 from the United Shoe Machinery Corporation regarding International Transactions and the United States Anti-Trust Laws. The purpose of the memorandum "is to design to call attention to certain laws of the United States which must be borne in mind when doing business abroad or with citizens of foreign nations. The subject-matter has become of special interest since World War II because the Department of Justice has been active in the anti-trust field and has brought civil and criminal suits based on transactions which primarily relate to foreign matters."
