1802 letter from Nathan Robinson in Havana, Cuba, to John Lovett, merchant of Beverly. The subject is regarding money to Mr. Zavaleta and giving power of attorney to Nathaniel Fellows "to settle some business". Mr. Zavaleta promised to send the rest of the money [that he is collecting] by the Schooner Atlantic, which is supposed to sale in about 8 days. The letter writer apologizes for not closing Capt. Lovett's business in Havana, but he is to sail out of New Orleans on the Eliza. |
