Benjamin jr., born 1758 is found under "Bickford" in Vital Records of Beverly Massachusetts, Births volume. He died of strangury in 1811. Statistics on his marriage to Ruth Obear and their children are found under "Beckford." Also, two of his daughter's deaths (Ruth and Lucy) are shown under Bickford. His mother was Elizabeth Wood, who first married Jonathan Herrick in 1744; he was "lost coming from Newfoundland" in 1747. Elizabeth Wood Herrick married Benjamin Bickford, Sr. in 1753. |
