    1816-1819 account book identified as belonging to Thomas Stephens and Nicholas Thorndike by a note inserted in the volume written later by BHS staff probably. The book contains accounts for the Schooner "Brittania'", the Schooner "Abigail", "Greyhound", "Union", "Alice", "William", Bark "Washington. Many individuals are named in the accounts as well.

    This is a receipt for sundries delivered to the Schooner Abigail from 20 April 1815 - 4 August 1815. The sundries were bought by Captain Nicholas Thorndike from Abraham Lord in Beverly. It is noted that 1.9 of beef was delivered to Israel Foster. The sundries delivered were veal, beef, and lamb. The total came to $6.02. The bill was paid on 21 October 1815.
