This is a bankruptcy document between John Heard (1744-1834) asignee of Hale Hilton to Nathan Leech. Recorded in the Registry of Deeds 19 January 1803 in Book 172 Leaf 55. Hale Hilton was declared a bankrupt on 1 July 1802, the major part of the creditors chose John Heard of Boston to be the assignee of the estate and effect of Hilton. The house "on the easterly side of Bartlett Lane" is conveyed to Nathan Leech.
