    1857 Log of the Ship "Seaman's Bride" on a voyage from Boston to Cadiz, Spain. Also called in New Orleans. The Captain was Artemus B. Wyman; the log was kept Daniel Kilham. The August 12th entry reads: "John McCann had the misfortune to fall into the slush barrel - no bones broken but pretty well greased."
