    1828 booklet "The Child's Garland or Poetry for Young Minds", presented to Emily Holmes on June 1, 1828. A later inscription, below the first says: "By P. Holmes Presented to P. H. Hadlock by Emily Drew June 1, 1878. It contains color pictures with poems to go with them. There are also cut-out pictures which have been pasted into the volume.
