Summary |
This volume of the genealogy is the history of generations eight through ten of the Converse family, including llustrations of many family members. The Allen and Bixby families, described as allied families to the Converse, were also included. Heman Allen was one such allied family member, who in one instance defended an abolitionist speaker in Vermont against threats of violence, where such talk was controversial in 1835. |
