The image shows Boston & Maine R.R. steam locomotive #222. It is a 0-6-0 switcher. The locomotive was built by Manchester Locomotive Works in Manchester, NH in 1905. The locomotive is seen here at North Billerica, MA in April of 1933. Three copies of the original negative exist in the collection. All are attributed to William Bissinger. They are all located in the sleeve labeled NGH-037-S. |
