Black and White photograph showing Woodstock Railroad #3. #3 was a 4-4-0 type built by the American Locomotive Company (ALCO) at Manchester, NH in 1905. She came with construction number #37754, 17" x 24" cylinders, 63" drivers, and 55 tons of weight. She carried the name "J.G. Porter" under her cab window. She was eventually sold to Stratton & Company and later cut up around 1952. Here she is seen at White River Junction, VT. This photo was taken by Carl T. Smith |
