The Conant-Chipman House photograph at 634 Cabot Street. Circa 1930, was owned by Harry Woodbury at this time who also owned the greenhouses which were on the same land extending down to Ellsworth Avenue which is now the site of Douglas Avenue. The barn is now gone. The picture was taken looking north, from rear of 620 Cabot Street. The land in the foreground is now occupied by a large stucco house. It was moved there around 1945 from its former location where the Route 128 bridge at 616 Cabot Street is now located. The house was built in 1666. |
