Description |
A Christmas card manufactured by the Kristin Elliott Card Company, formerly of Beverly, Massachusetts. The image is of two small children looking into a large window of what is probably a toy store. There are toy animals, dolls, a train, a soldier and a train. Christmas ornaments are hanging from above. This scene was painted by Eleanor C. Thomas, a local artist and art teacher. The artist's signature is below the image on the right. The greeting inside, "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year", is printed in red ink. The card was signed by Ruth Gib and Sally Clark. The following was printed on the back of the card, "5K - 114 Kristin Elliott Beverly, Massachusetts." |
