Description |
A drawing in pencil on transparent paper of a bunch of Columbine flowers. This species is found in the Rocky Mountains and is the state flower of Colorado. They are recognized by their very long spurs. This appears to be a rough draft for a future more refined drawing or watercolor. There is a rectangular box drawn around the image serving as a frame. There is one flower on the top left that has been colored pink. This was located in a portfolio which contained the work of Eleanor C. Thomas, a local artist and art teacher. This drawing is unsigned. |
