Off-white circular button depicting an eagle on the front. The eagle is on top of crossed cannons and cannon balls, which are then on top of an American flag which is hanging vertically. The flag is on top of a star that is outlined in yellow. Inside the star it states "Grand Army of the Republic Veteran" with a picture of two soldiers shaking hands and a figure in the center wearing a red cloak. Verso: "The Whitehead & Hoag Co.
