A watercolor on paper of four purple irises with green leaves. Some of irises are only sketched out and have never been painted. There is a sketch on the back side of watercolor of the interior of a house. There is a fireplace, andirons, bucket, two chairs and a footstool. There are two windows flanking the fireplace. This was located in a portfolio that contained the work of Eleanor C. Thomas, a local artist and art teacher. This watercolor, and sketch, are unsigned. |
