   1740 bill-of-sale between Anna Hale, widow to William Bartlett, mariner of Marblehead in the amount of 300 pounds for a house and six acres near the Ferry Landing. 2. 9648 - Contract

   A handwritten contract between Samuel Herrick and Osman Trask which was written on August 11, 1766. Herrick sold one half part of the middle appartment of the warehouse on the new wharf for thirty-six pounds nineteen shillings and four pence. This wharf was constructed across the street from Herrick's house on Water Street. This document was cosigned by Bethiah Herrick and witnessed by Benjamin Beckford and Samuel Goodridge.
