   1795 letter from Moses Brown (1748 - 1820) to his wife, Mary Bridge Brown, written from Philadelphia. He writes about "our cause" which is coming up and he thinks will take about a week. Later he says that he met the President and Mrs. Washington, and "was recognized with attention" by the President.
