A single mahogany bed with four turned and shaped posts. Each post has a pineapple carving topped with a ball. There is a shaped headboard. 1857 Log of the Ship "Seaman's Bride" on a voyage from Boston to Cadiz, Spain. Also called in New Orleans. The Captain was Artemus B. Wyman; the log was kept Daniel Kilham. The August 12th entry reads: "John McCann had the misfortune to fall into the slush barrel - no bones broken but pretty well greased."

Richard Quartermass (b 1780 in Beverly) is selling "one half of a Seaman's share of all the Prizes and Plunder" to Daniel Kilham, Jr. ?(the name is unclear).
