A handwritten deed stating that Captain Joseph Herrick received fifty pounds ten shillings from Moses Gauge for a parcel of land on Ryal Side. Herrick was a tanner and Gauge was a fisherman. This document was signed on October 5, 1720. This was witnessed by Edward Thompson and accepted by Stephen Sewall the following day in Salem.
